HATBORO — Keith Johnson, 29, was charged after Hatboro police say he fired a shot at a woman during a domestic-related disturbance Saturday on the 300 block of Horsham Road, according to the Hatboro Police Department via Glenside Local and Patch.
Police said the victim was involved in a domestic-related disturbance with Johnson. As she tried to leave the area in a vehicle, Johnson stood in the way, produced a firearm, and fired one round at the victim that missed by mere inches, police said. No injuries were reported.
Johnson was located shortly afterward in Philadelphia, where he was arrested and taken to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility, police said. Patch reported he was arraigned with bail set at $500,000 cash. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 1, police said.
According to Hatboro police charging information reported by Glenside Local and Patch, Johnson faces two counts of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, two counts of simple assault, possession of an instrument of crime, and recklessly endangering another person.
Johnson is presumed innocent. The charges are allegations that have not been proven in court.
