Multiple vehicles parked along Wood Street in Philadelphia’s Old City had windows broken and interior compartments searched Sunday afternoon, Fox 29 reported.
According to Fox 29, police began receiving reports around 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20. Affected drivers described delays waiting for officers and estimated repair costs of several hundred dollars, Fox 29 said. The Fox 29 account described the damage as involving “dozens” / “multiple” cars; police had not confirmed an exact vehicle count in the material reviewed for this draft.
No named suspect was identified in the Fox 29 coverage reviewed for this draft. A secondary video summary of the Fox 29 report said no items were reported stolen despite interiors being rummaged; that “nothing stolen” detail was not in the Fox 29 page text itself and is noted here only as a secondary claim.
