PHILADELPHIA (PCU) — Philadelphia Police responded to a double shooting about 2:49 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, in the 2900 block of North Broad Street in North Philadelphia.
Police said a 36-year-old woman was shot twice and taken by police to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.
Police said a 41-year-old man suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head and was taken by SEPTA Police to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.
According to NBC10 sources — not confirmed by police — the husband shot his wife then himself inside a car; the pair were married; and a stray round struck a dispatcher’s car while the dispatcher was with children.
