Two Teens Shot On Lambert Street In North Philly

NORTH PHILADELPHIA — Two teenagers were shot Tuesday night, Sept. 15, 2026, after gunfire erupted along the 1800 block of Lambert Street in North Philadelphia, police said, according to NBC10 and The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Chief Inspector Scott Small said the shooting happened about 10:30 p.m. The victims — an 18-year-old man struck once in the right side of his abdomen and a 17-year-old boy grazed above his hip — were found on the 1800 block of North Woodstock Street. Both were taken to Temple University Hospital and listed in stable condition, police said.

One of the victims told officers he believed the incident may have been a drive-by shooting, Small said. Police recovered at least 17 spent shell casings. Detectives have not announced any suspects or a motive, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Philadelphia Police Department tip line at 215-686-TIPS (8477). Tipsters can remain anonymous.
