Police say a 24-year-old woman was shot in the leg through her front door around 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, in the 4900 block of Aspen Street in West Philadelphia’s Mill Creek neighborhood, near 49th Street, according to 6abc and KYW Newsradio.
The victim told police her boyfriend fired from the porch through the front door, 6abc reported. Her 2-year-old daughter was home and awake but was not injured, both outlets said. The woman was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
No one has been arrested. Investigators are reviewing neighborhood real-time crime-camera footage, KYW Newsradio reported. The man sought has not been publicly charged and is presumed innocent.
