Philadelphia police are asking for help identifying a suspect in the Aug. 23 shooting death of 35-year-old Michael Scott-Keitt near 3200 Kensington Avenue. The city is offering a $20,000 reward leading to an arrest and conviction.
Officers responded to the block at 5:18 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, and found Scott-Keitt suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to a Philadelphia Police Department flyer. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died of his injuries.
Police described the suspect as a Black male, about 25 to 35 years old, 6 feet tall, with a medium build, light complexion, and a beard. The department released surveillance photos of a man wearing a black baseball cap, a dark zip-up hoodie, light-colored pants, white sneakers, and a gold chain with a large circular pendant.
The city of Philadelphia offers a $20,000 reward leading to an arrest and conviction in every homicide.
Anyone with information can contact Philadelphia police. The person in the photos has not been named and has not been convicted of a crime.
