Philadelphia Police and United States Marshall’s are still looking for 19-year-old Elijah Jones who is wanted on a Homicide warrant for allegedly shooting and killing 46-year-old Reginald Bates on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at approximately 12:26 a.m in the 22nd District.
Elijah Jones is from the 2100 block of North 32nd Street, and was last seen leaving the property wearing all-black clothing and a camouflage face mask.

On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at approximately 12:26 a.m., 22nd District officers responded to the 21XX block of North 32nd Street for a report of a person with a gun and a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located 46-year-old Reginald Bates, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. Bates was transported to Temple University Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 12:47 a.m. The offender, identified as Elijah Jones, a 19-year-old Black male from the 2100 block of North 32nd Street, was last seen leaving the property wearing all-black clothing and a camouflage face mask.
