A 38-year-old man was shot multiple times while getting gas in Hunting Park early Monday, Philadelphia police said.
Officers were called around 2:42 a.m. to a report of gunfire at a gas station on the 4400 block of North Broad Street. Police found a shooting scene but no victim.
A short time later, a blue Kia arrived at a North Philadelphia hospital carrying the 38-year-old. Investigators believe he was trying to refuel when an unknown shooter, or shooters, confronted him and opened fire.
Police have not given a motive or said how badly the man was hurt. The investigation is ongoing.
