Philadelphia: 5 Children Shot In Two Separate Quadruple Shootings


Last night and early this morning the city suffered two mass shootings within about 4 hours of each other that injured at least 5 children and 3 adults. The first incident occurred at N Creighton and Wyalusing St in the 16th district around 10:30pm. Someone opened fire in the area and struck 4 people, including a 2-year-old todder. A 26-year-old woman was shot in back, a 26-year-old woman was shot in the head, and a 26-year-old man was shot once in the leg, they are all in critical condition. The 2 year old toddler was shot in the leg and is in stable condition. No word on suspects, no arrests.

The second quadruple shooting occurred around 2am in the area of 7th and Wallace. 4 teenagers, aged 13, 14, and two 16 year olds were shot. All the victims were transported by medics to local hospitals and placed in critical but stable condition. No arrests, and no other information has been provided by PPD officials.
