At around 4:35pm police received multiple reports of a shooting at the intersection of E Tioga St & N Water. After arriving, 25th district police officers found two males suffering gunshot wounds. Police transported one male to Temple Hospital with a gunshot wound to his lower right thigh. The second male is being treated and transported VIA medics.
Police have advised that a potential suspect was firing out of a white SUV and was last seen driving west on Venango St. No further description at this time.
Police are actively conducting an investigation and reviewing surveillance footage.
This latest shooting continues the trail of blood this city is currently walking down. With over 1000 people shot in 2022, the city is desperately looking for answers.
