Philadelphia Police say that a 17-year-old was shot and killed last night in what they say was a coordinated and choreographed execution-style murder. This murder occurred at 61st and Buist St in Philadelphia. Police say that two offenders were involved in the hit. One offender, wearing a white t-shirt, placed a handgun at the base of a vehicle that was parked near the murder scene. The second offender then walked over and picked up the gun. This is when the murderer approached the victim, extended his arm, and pointed the gun just 2 feet from the victims head. The offender fired several shots point-blank into the victims head in an execution style murder.
Police do have surveillance video of this incident and homicide detectives are actively working the case. The 17-year-old victim has not yet been publicly identified. Check out the video above of the statement from PPD by Fox29 reporter Steve Keeley.
